    I drilled the rubber out of mine completely then folded the side in and used a air hammer to push it out and still had troubles...

    I just replaced all the cats on my jeep... The misfire is only happening when I start the jeep. so its a timing issue I believe. My LJ has 146k on it and probably still has the original timing chain.

    My 06 LJ does the same thing. and it doesn't have plug wires. I guess I need to pull the plugs and replace them they have been in for about 50,000 miles...

    I started to get DW and so looked and found the bolt on the lower control arm was just a turn loose. Tightened it up and gone... I know sometimes a bent wheel or one wheel that is out of balance will also cause it as well. Check your caster angle as well. if it gets down to low it can cause it...
