    Dodge Power Wagon build (x2)

After some really hard soul searching I've decided that my Power Wagon project will be continuing, but along a much different path. We are trying to get a new business off the ground and my physical health has deteriorated to the point that another full build is no longer in the picture. I...

    Political So now what

The idea that moderates are the problem is exactly why this country will not stabilize under the current system. Compromise and unity are how a country moves forward. Extreme left and right... Well you can look around the world to see how that works out. Everyone seems to forget that there...

Easy question: what’s the best tow vehicle?

I've got a 2012 Ram 2500 with a 6.7 Cummins and my work truck is a 2016 F250 with the 6.7 PS. Honestly just driving around the Ford feels better. Its a little peppier with no load and drives good. The dodge is more comfortable and tows better. Both get about 15-16MPG combined, but I have to...

    Political So now what

https://www.forwardparty.com/merger_splash?splash=1 It'll be interesting to see if this gets some momentum behind it. They haven't released a "platform" as of yet but with a centrist philosophy it could gain more voters than the libertarian party.

    Political So now what

It still amazes me that the primary discussion is "which piece of crap that I hate should I vote for". The two party system deviding and conquering just like it was designed to do.

    Dodge Power Wagon build (x2)

Finally got some time to work on the 318 (332. The boy likes to make sure to add that .060 over lol). Between his graduation, being sick, my neice getting married in Alaska and a bout of the BA5 there hasn't been much time. Waiting on parts has been a challenge as well. Pistons all installed...

    Dodge Power Wagon build (x2)

It's been a minute with graduation and being sick but the .060 318 is going back together. Got the crank in today. Still need to press the wrist pins and we have one set of rings that need to be opened a few thou, but it'll go together pretty quick after that.

    Helicoil tips?

Just go slow with the tap and make sure you have the helicoil threaded in fully, then brake off the little install tab. The helicoil won't seat if you don't brake that off. I've done hundreds on air force equipment and even one of the knuckles on my 60 has helicoils holding the high steer arm...

    Proud father moments

Highschool graduation. Honestly a day we didn't know for sure if it would come. My son finished 3 years of highschool in the last year to accomplish this. Couldn't be prouder.

    Political So now what

@jeeper you make all valid points. I was referring to the public notoriety achieved through the media. All points of the investigation like you said could be conducted without broadcasting the shooters name on all channels for weeks, which is probably exactly what most of these guys want. It's...

    Political So now what

As a start (clearly not the whole answer, and I don't know what that answer is) the shooters in these cases should have their identity wiped from the media. They seek infamy and get it when their names are plastered all over the media and every person who ever met them is interviewed live on the...

    Hickey's 1970 Farm Truck

I'll have to ask him which one he was looking at. UMC did cars and coffee once a month during the summer last year but I haven't seen a schedule for this year. My kid works there so if there are dates lined up I can post up for folks that are interested. Sorry for the hijack @Hickey !

    Hickey's 1970 Farm Truck

As a man who's driveway and garage currently look like a chop shop for old trucks I highly approve 😂

    Hickey's 1970 Farm Truck

It's in the next few weekends. My neighbor told me his little girl has informed him they would be taking his truck to see the car show. I can find the dates

    Dodge Power Wagon build (x2)

Lots of stuff coming together for both trucks. Got the block and heads back from Hunter Machine. Bored .060 over. Heads are completely rebuilt, new pistons and rings. Just waiting on the bearings and it can start going back together. Ran down to GJ last weekend to pick up a bed for my son's...

    Cody's First Frame - 1980 CJ7 Family Trail Build

When I did the leafs in the front of the XJ having the shackles completely vertical like that caused some wandering. Correcting the geometry made a big difference. I second the Holley Sniper kit. I haven't installed my FiTech yet, but the Holley setup was fairly simple if you take your time...

    Dodge Power Wagon build (x2)

Well my kid and one of his friends got the old 318 out of his truck, stripped everything out of the engine bay and got it painted and ready for the new block. They asked a few questions but overall did it by themselves. He even organized all the hardware in bags. It's nice when you see your kid...

    Solar power who’s the best?

Zero issues with ours after 5 years as well. The only problem I've had is a Globe Willow that blocks some light when it needs a trim. The company that installed them is gone, but the panel manufacturer still honors the warranty on the panels and my system is still monitored for issues (I get an...

The -6 AN fittings are way overkill but I had them laying around.
