Well, I couldn't get any of your videos to load....

I have a gopro and the last time I went out a few weeks ago I mounted it on the roll bar... It just didn't really look cool. I think mounting it lower so you can see the suspension and tires would be better, but it is also more risky of getting damaged.

As some of you know it has been some time since I have really been wheeling. Last night I pull up YouTube on the HD monster flat screen TV and start watching some offroad vids. The max of tires would be 4, unless it is a dually then it would be 6.

Mine has about 4" up and 12" down.

Suspension travel can be overrated. Contact pressure with travel is were it's at. You can drop your wheel all you want, but if there is no pressure on the groud traction is lost.

Thanks for the reply this is great information, I have a 86 that I want to do the same 5.3 swap. Not to highjack, but what emissions need to be on the Jeep, from the donor rig or the Jeep?

I see that Toad is in Logan and doesn't have to worry about IM testing, but if you do this and decide to sell it how does that effect areas like SLC that frown on V8 swaps that mess with the original emissions?
