My buddy bought his Jeep in California, it came with a Chip that installs into the dash. Pull the chip out and put in the key and it won't start. It will only start if the chip is in. No way to hot wire around it... Do you know who manufactured the chip?

I am loking for ideas for my YJ. I am thinking of a removable steering wheel? comments and other ideas needed.

ok drivetrain ford 5.0 FI motor, NV4500 trans, Dana 300 transfer case Dana 44 front ( 78 wagoner) Dana 44 rear (95 Honda Passport) with disc brakes in process of installing 4.88 gears and an arb in rear. custom tire carrier, rock sliders,and bumpers no i have not gotten dsl yet

35's will fit with out the body lift. front fenders were cut back to the inside fender wall, 2-2 1/2 were cut out all the way around the back

soon I hope :D

also has a 1" body lift

I am runnig 35" tires with the TJ flares(which required the fenders to be cutout) to have enough clearance. the front axle has also been moved forward 1". :)
