I am replacing the LSD with a truetrac in my '01 Dodge Ram 1500 and am finidng I need a special tool to release/ adjust the carrier bearings. Anyone know where I can get one without ordering online for $75+ dollars. Everyone, including the dealers has all given me a blank stare when I ask them.

Thanks for all of the input. I was in 4 Wheel Parts in Vegas the other day looking and the sales rep was really pushing the Auburn. Ultimately I think I am going TrueTrac. The only limitation I am not sure of between the two is th roadability for towing for the few times a year I tow my boat.

I personally love my 01 Ram for a couple of reasons. First the solid axle void of CV boots, second, the direct throw transfer case with no electronics to fail and lastly the turning radius is great. On the down side I have had more trouble proportionately with it than my previous GM trucks but...
