Jobs! Looking for a job? Is your company hiring? Post up here!

The past couple years, there has been a big trend in companies just consolidating higher pay positions. And because of that, it certainly has been a much tighter job market for those higher six figure incomes. A little over a year ago I lost my position at the company I was with solely based on...

    The I-15 bounce!

I’ve been driving my parents 2016 Silverado 1500 crew cab with a 6 1/2’ bed for a few days. The truck is in perfect condition. They have owned it since new and is as clean as it was the day off the showroom floor with only 38,000 miles. After driving my Tahoe and getting in this thing, it’s...

1.75” tube clamps? Starlink mini mount ideas.

Currently traveling through Wyoming, where T-Mobile does not work in many many places. I typically go several hours at a time without cell service in Wyoming. This little guy sitting on the dash doesn’t skip a beat. I just finished up a teams video call for Work in a location I never would’ve...

The seat is on a swivel so you can spin it around for use in the living space.

1.75” tube clamps? Starlink mini mount ideas.

That actually is super cool. I made a little adapter to hook a drill battery up to mine, but it’s not nearly as sleek as that. And the cool thing about having dual batteries you can hot swap one at a time so it doesn’t turn off and have to reboot and align. I definitely would like a set up like...

    Out of State Move?

I agree with @Kevin B. There’s lots of remote work opportunities that allow you to live where you want. Maybe take the experience you have and start looking for some of those opportunities. That could be with manufactures, Companies that sell software into businesses like you have worked at...

    Political 2024 presidential election

I kind of feel like that’s what happened in 2020 to Trump though. There was a lot of things that people didn’t like about him causing them to vote against him. A lot of those things people still don’t like about him. But the idea of being able to afford groceries and gas makes it seem a little...

    Jeep Crawler Bench Build

Yeah, like stated I don’t think you can go more than a couple inches before you have to worry about changing the tank or going with a fuel cell. But I do think it’s pretty easy to stay on rear coil if you stick to around 5 inches of stretch. I think going with some axles like you stated with a...

    Political 2024 presidential election

The two party system, by design will keep it that way. I think for many Americans they vote against somebody not for somebody just so they don’t feel like they wasted a vote.

    Jeep Crawler Bench Build

What are you thinking for axles? I would imagine you’re probably looking at about 10 grand for both axles fully setup. Then you need to deal with the transfer case a minimum of a sye but probably a 4:1 And then a full long arm suspension? I’m guessing with a stretched wheelbase you would end up...

    Free Snowboard boots 11.5

Some snowboard boots size 11 1/2. Anyone can use them great if not, they’re getting donated this weekend.

    Free Scott riding pants (free)

Size 38, no holes or tears. They seem to fit a little tight if my memory serves me as I typically wore a 36w when I was using these. I was about to throw them in the donate bag but figured I’d see if anyone could use them first.

    Thoughts on GMT800/900 Tahoes?

I have a 2017 Tahoe. I don’t really daily drive it but use it for work so lots of long road trips and I’ve towed a boat plenty with it. It tows like a half ton suv. I personally wouldn’t make it my choice to tow a 7k trailer. But other than that I really enjoy it for an older suv. Still drives...

    The Ski/Snowboarding thread

I think he will do great those Brighton instructors do a fantastic job with kids. And for anyone else interested in getting kids involved, the Nordic valley afterschool program is about half the price of the ski blitz but transportation is not included so you have to get your kids up there.

    The Ski/Snowboarding thread

The couple times I went last year was weekdays and passes were under $20. For anyone that only gets out a handful of times a year and isn’t looking for big mountain runs Nordic is the place. They also do a killer after school program for kids. I enrolled my kids in it for a handful of years...

    The Ski/Snowboarding thread

Feel free to hit me up if you want company. I usually hit Nordic a few times a season with friends. It’s cheap and I like the vibe there. Also I have a handful of 50% off basin passes and 25% off ikon resort passes. I don’t snowboard much these days but that would be a great reason to bust it...

    The Ski/Snowboarding thread

Bringing this old thread back from the dead. The season is almost here. Do we still have any people in the group that ride? I did a snowbasin pass and ikon base pass again this year. If anyone is interested in meeting up to ride together this season post up. I typically skip Saturday because...
