Yeah Calranch does have them localy...We've bought three from them and have been using them for about nine months now..No problems...They are probaly about the cheapest you will find new...60-80.00 depending on what size you go with..:D

I think it's been established that longer shackles do in fact hurt the approach and departure angles..But I would much rather lengthen my shackles then add new leaf packs with more arch and hurt my flex factor..Like some of the other guys posted you can adjust your driving to the longer...

I agree, I went through 2 myself..The 229 has a good low range very similar to the 208...The clutch pack and the vacuum sh_t make it a mother if anything goes wrong..You might want to look for a jeep 208, its an easy swap and has a fixed yoke as well unlike the chev 208....
