Ok this is just the family car but I know someone on here will know about it. Our mountaineer will not stay running after it is started unless my foot is on the gas. if i let up it will die. i can smell gas when i get out but that might just be from me pumping the gas, i don't know. I have to push on the gas a bit for it to start. i have replaced the fuel filter and i want to get some input before i spend $100 and move on to the fuel pump.
