14 bolt R&P install???

I am redoing my gears in the 14 bolt, never done an R&P install before. Any tips, or lessons from past experiences appreciated.

ahhh young grasshopper. take your axle to Rocklogic.

thats is the only lesson i know.

any tricks to getting the carrier out?

i had rocklogic do mine.

but i have seen some writeups on 4x4wire about it and on pirate.

try the search button perhaps.

ummm i know you need a prybar and maybe a bottle jack and some sort of ratchet strap

thats what i hear man.

150 bux and RL sets it up for ya (last time when i had mine done anyways)

Well, might be worth it, even to make sure I go the depth and all set up correctly.

as for the install. i havnt done one man but if you get it off by a lil bit i know you can ruin your gears.

get some yellow grease and measure the old shims that it uses.

Loosen the adjusters and it should come right out.
