170 Miles of Moab

Last week my son and I went down to Moab to have some fun before he started school this week. We went down on Wednesday and drove out to Chicken Corners, then came back to the Lockhart Basin trail. We camped over night and on Thursday we finished the trail. We were kind of toasted so we went up to the Lasal mountains and did some "cool" trails. We went up Geyser Pass, then to Blue Lake to catch some fish for dinner, next was Dark Canyon and finally we did LaSal Pass. That night we camped out in Onion Creek. In the morning we got up early and ran Rose Garden Hill and Top Of The World. The recent rains made the trails more fun. Here are some pictures:

We drove it down the whole way. It does well on the road.

The fishing was good. The lake was stocked with a bunch of rainbows that were hungry.
