I am in the process of doing this swap. I have pulled all of the parts from a 83 cj-7 the box is mounted to the frame but I need to figure out how to mount the pump.

Use the bracket you pulled off the donor.

The brackets are almost worth more than the pump and box. Try the wrecking yards.

6cyl? 8?? I might have some brackets left for an 8cyl...

It is a a six cylinder. I have the brackets but on the intake and the block they have bosses cast into the newer stuff to mount the bracket to. The old stuff does not have the the bosses. just wondering if any body else had run into the same problem
