Picked this up at an auction with plans to tdi swap it.
OD says 248k but does not work so probably 300k+
Motor is good and starts and has new plugs wires cap&rotor
Body is in great shape for being a 90s car
Interior is in good shape little ripping on drivers seat otherwise all intact
All windows and locks work except the sunroof, motor works think the cable is offtrack
What it needs
Oil pan gasket, or just check and add oil, slow-medium leak
Power steering pump or just the reservoir as it looks like the hose clamp was over tightened at some point and cracked the hard line off the reservoir (tried to get good pick.
Battery restraint, has the tray just not anything to hold it in place -- and the battery in it is not a stock one, holds charge for a while if you keep up on it. on trickle charger right now
Brake work, they work just not great. new fluid would for sure help have not tore into the rest to checks anything
Tranny, slow to go in gear but once there is shifts fine I figure it probably needs a rebuild but fluid swap might be fine.
$2300 or still trade for Gregs 69' K20
