So I picked up a 94 350 for a tow rig. it was in an accident but he had a paper saying the frame and major components were ok. I pulled the fender, bumper, grille gaurd, door and what was left of the head light. I found the core support bent, and the cab is pushed back in the front. I have a buddy that is a frame specalist and he is going to see if it is fixable. pics to come

460 for now. Going to Save up for the 24v swap, but with 150k on the clock and good service records I think I have time.
Oh and the important part... it is saveable, it will take less than an hour on the rack

I'm still waiting on the pics :)

I am LOVING my new 460. I doubt I will ever intentionally go back to a diesel.

Sorry about the long absence, but life became very hectic very quickly. It is not slowing down ANY time soon but I did get a minute to sit down in front of the computer. These are Pre-pictures. the frame ended up being bent, but we got it mostly squared back up. I got all the parts jammed (painted on the inside). I got it put back together.

20140716_202033_zps237e4469.jpg20140716_202045_zpsbcc3a846.jpg So this is how it sits now. I have driven it for the past 2 days. (not far, I still need the pass side shock mount) it rides just like a 1ton truck but I am unimpressed with the power. Maybe it is the weight difference but my 350 with 300k feels WAY more peppy than this 460 does. I have not put anything behind it yet but not impressed as of yet. I am looking into building a cold air intake for it and redoing the exhaust to help it breath. Maybe a cam swap (big maybe) If anyone has a suggestion please let me know. I thought these things were supposed to be strong on the bottom end. The ODO reads 155577.8 so I would not think it is worn out or at least I would hope not. any ides please let me know.

I have never been a 460 fan. They do okay with heavy towing compared to smaller gas engines but I hate them as anything else.
