1996 Dodge Cummins 12v 5-speed 4x4

I can't speak for dodges but the powerstrokes had cats on the manual transmission trucks. I was always told it was because your could lug a manual and not an automatic.

There should be a riveted label on the driver side crank case. There's a section that will have the letter oc stamped into it if it requires a cat.

Tried to find this, couldn't see any plates anywhere. Then again I don't know exactly where to look

...and just for us Davis County Emissions joke haters, I've successfully registered two diesel vehicles in Woods Cross with SL County emissions tests.

What year were the trucks? Being a '94 IDI I don't have any OBDI/II to plug in to. That is the reason I've been given to have to run the rollers. What did your test consist of? I would much prefer to give my $$ to SL County than the DCTC dick bags.

--Sorry TRD, free bump!

2001 Ford and 1998 Cummins are the trucks. I'm not sure what the test consisted of. I got a cert and it let me register the vehicle at the DMV
