I'm selling my 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country Edition. The engine, transmission and transfer case all work great. It has power locks and windows and silver trim since it is the Country edition. I bought it and modified it with the intention to have a rig I could take anywhere and still have it look nice. Sadly, plans have changed and I need to sell it. Asking $3,500.
The interior is in good condition. No tears on any of the seats and it hasn't been smoked in.The stereo is awesome. It has a Kenwood Head unit with HD Radio, CD, iPhone Controls (including Pandora), USB, AUX in, and Bluetooth, and 4 new speakers.
Here is a list of the modifications:
Custom cargo area storage with places to hold an extra drive shaft, spare axles for each side of the Dana 35 (all included), and much more room for other things. Top part has the sub mounted and room for the spare tire and a 7 gallon water jug. If spare tire is mounted on the roof, it has room for a cooler with places to strap it down.
Custom Full size roof rack with 4 lights and two bike mounts can be included for an extra $250.The roof rack currently isn't mounted.
5.5” lift
3.5” coil springs with 2” spacers in the front with Procomp lower control arms
5.5” Rubicon express leaf springs with rocky road shackles in the rear
Rubicon Express HD Adjustable Track Bar and Bracket
33x12.50R15 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs with less than 3,000 miles on 15x8 Chromed steel wheels. 33” spare tire as well.
Front and Rear custom bumpers made to match the body lines on the XJ and painted silver to match the rest of the trim.
Two 8” 130 watt lights on the front bumper
Pocket Style Fiberglass fender flares painted to match silver trim
Front Axle: Dana 30, 3.73 gears
Rear Axle: Dana 35 w/ Spartan locker, 3.73 gears
NP231 with SYE Kit & custom rear drive shaft
New Motor and transfer case mounts
Recent Maintenance in last 6 months:
Distributor and plug wires replaced
Cooling system is completely redone: New radiator, water pump, thermostat, and HD fan clutch
A/C system was recharged in June
New 60 month battery
Service records since I’ve owned it are available.
It does have a rebuilt/restored title from a previous accident when I was not the owner. No damage to the uni-body, everything is straight.
