Incorrect, nobody likes the freemonts or piutes, cherokees are fine. As far as I know only apaches don't like cherokees.

I'm no transmission expert, but I believe that it's a NV4500? I may be extremely wrong.

I'm not expecting to find a big block equipped truck with a 5-speed, just a small block with a 5-speed would be fine for the towing I'm doing. If I absolutely needed a big block, I wouldn't hesitate buying this truck.
