SALE PENDING!!!

Relisting these... I want to build them up, but reality is that they will just sit around.

I have 2 Isuzu 4BD1T's for sale. These are 3.9l turbo diesel 4 cylinder engines, similar to a Cummins 4BT but they aren't as loud, don't shake near as much and are a bit smaller. With some tweaks of the injection pump and the correct turbo, these will make a reliable and driveable 450 ft/lbs of torque and get 25+ MPG. Very neat engines and a little hard to find.

One of them is mostly assembled and complete (including injection pump), but has a hole in the block. The other is torn down and ready for a rebuild and is very clean, but it was missing the injection pump. The crank journals look perfect. Together you can build a complete engine and have spare parts to sell, like the cyl head, turbo's, crank, all the misc parts, etc. I also have 2 factory turbos that appear to be in working order, 2 starters, 1 alternator, etc. Both engines had manual transmissions and come with 2 factory bellhousing adapters and flywheels. I have one decent wiring harness with the assembled engine.

Also included are;
  • Injectors that have been rebuilt by Oregon Injection
  • ARP head studs
  • Complete set of Crane Cams Z28 valve springs (enough springs for 2 engines)
  • NPR intercooler
  • New water pump
  • New oil filler cap

The good block, crank, head and cam have been covered in WD40 to keep rust from forming.

Located in Grand Jct, CO

I will NOT ship, buyer picks up only.

Price for everything- $1800, will not separate

I also have a working mid-90's GM 4L80E (w/ torque convertor) and driver-drop NP241 t-case I was going to use with the 4BD1T. I can add them for another $600.

I don't see a price

Weird my tapatalk app doesn't show that line but if does in my browser...

What's funny is that I made the text with the price and location in bold & larger font and underlined, so it was easier to see! The change must have messed with Tapatalk for some reason.

I really wish I had the time to do something with these. Exactly my kind of project!

I hear you! This engine would be neat to stab in almost anything, I really want to drop one in a early 80 Series Land Cruiser. People have already figured out how to bolt the 4BD1T to the factory Aisin transmission with a small adapter. The '93-94 transmissions aren't computer controlled and it works great with the diesel engine.

A late '90's GM truck would be neat too, stock 3.08 or 3.42 gears with some 285's and the 4L80E and it would pull down killer mileage all day long.
