My nephew has a 2001 Grand Cherokee(WJ) and wants to lift it. Who has the best long-arm kit out there and what tire sizes can you run with them? Attach any pictures of yours if you have them.

I run Clayton's. You will NOT be disappointed with their stuff.
Clayton's is by far the best and most trail tested.

Has any of your run Teraflexs? From the pics on Clayton's it looks like the arms are square tubing. Is this right?

Ya, Clayton's arms have always been square. No big deal really. I've seen upwards of probably 80 ZJ and WJ's with Clayton's kit and nobody has every had a problem with the arms. Those kits just work and have been tested by a lot of people on a lot of terrain. Clayton is a good egg too.
My last two ZJ's have run a combination of Tera joints/arms. I like tera's joints, but if I was going to buy an entire kit I would go with Clayton without a seconds hesitation. I don't think that Tera continues to make the ZJ/WJ kits anymore.

Clayton's is square tubing. You are probably thinking the same thing I thought when I first saw that, but it is the win.
Tera makes some good gear, but their support for the longarm Grand scene is kind of lacking.
I've seen a lot of suspensions, and I've never been as impressed with a kit as I am with Clayton's. The Tera JK systems are pretty cool, but Clayton's has the grand scene hands down.

Correct--they're still available, and at a good (clearance) price...but when they're gone, they won't be restocked.
Yeah, I'd agree with that. Tera has great TJ and JK Wrangler lifts, but never really had a comprehensive approach to the unibody rigs.

You can spend days searching for negative feedback about Clayton, and not find a thing. He and Adam are good guys to deal with and stand behind their products. REDBULLTJ (tim) runs their TJ kit with one tons, 40" stickies and has bent one threaded joint in five years.
Hell, Clayton began by making the first longarm kit for ZJs, and continually improved on it. That in itself is worth giving him your business.

Actually, he began making rock sliders for ZJ's and a couple years later started making suspensions
He eventually ditched the sliders.

I do remember him playing around with sliders and a front bumper for a while there. I thought the arms came first
Now I know.....My first introduction to claytons stuff was on ChrisL's ZJ back when his kits still had the rear trackbar. That thing was a monster for it's time.

I lifted my ZJ long before I ever heard of Clayton's, and my tax return next year will be going to them most likely. Shoot, I remember when Kevin first started making sliders and now look at him.

The red one is the one that got me into ZJ's. It used to be parked up at the U when I was going there in 99. Matt Woola was the name, and 35's back in 99 was just crazy.
Yup, Kevin used to make them in his backyard. I had his very first set of low profile sliders because I told him I didn't want the bar sticking out.
I've drug both Kevin (a few times) and Clayton (once, in his ZJ buggy) off the trail before. I'm the ZJ fab guy rescue team

oh that's right. the guy from Cali. Did he get in on the Clayton install party that they did in Cali? For some reason I thought Chris_L's rig was built a couple years after Clayton started selling kits.
