Be real careful when buying a Power Wagon. They are fantastic trucks. I love mine, but there are a TON of fakes out there.

People love to throw the emblems on standard 2500s and pass them off as a PW. Right away I see it dose not have the PW wheels and has standard chrome steel 2500 wheels. Make sure it has the 12000 Warn winch behind the bumper, front sway bar disconnect, look at the axles and make sure they have the extra electrical plug for the e-lockers front and rear. The switches for the lockers and sway bar disconnects should be in the center dash console.

Like I said they are fantastic trucks, especially if you are into Jeeps/4x4/etc. just be sure to do your homework. I some times wish it was a diesel. But for 90% of what I do with it the gas motor has plenty of power.

Edit: Your title says 2002 but the dealer ad says 2005. 2005 was the first year of the return of the PW option.

This site has a VIN decoder and some other useful things for research.

Looks like it's been rode hard and put away wet to me. Not to mention, that thing would be a ticket magnet here in good ol Utah.

I don't see the locker and swaybar controls or the fair lead for the winch  A vin search doesn't show anything to prove it is either...

Power Wagons are really cool, but I just I don't see the point in truck lifted to that height... It takes away from their capability (especially the PW) imo. Price seems very steep to me also, but I haven't really looked around much :-\

I dont like how chopped the bed is, cut for tire clearance, and the lower section behind the tire is gone!

I cant see the fairlead either.

thanks for the input guys.
the truck is not for me but my GF's brother inlaw.

he said the winch was gone but has mounting for it.

i thought the price was a little high, and i saw the bed aswell...

but he's looking for a truck that he can haul stuff in and go on mild trails with.

he asked me what i thought of it and if there are any problems with them,

so the vin said it was not one?

Sounds like a hacked up truck that needs passed on to me. The Vin search doesnt show anything to be specific, but thats an option code that the vin wouldnt show anyway.

If the winch is gone, what else did they snag off it?

I dont think that the new PWs even came out till 05? And they had the Power Wagon emblems across the tailgate, and boxed frames from front to rear.
