Looks nice....why the change?

I've had the buggy forever it seems... I wanted to change some things and finish other things for a long time now. I never really finished it when I built it years ago. Now I will be able to meet my removable windshield up with my roof to prevent rain from getting in on wet days. Before the front bars were not parallel.

Please tell me you drove around like that to get slushies or something... :)

It was tempting! Convertible buggy. :D

Love the new top.

Thanks! It was somewhat inspired by your project. ;)

Wow... I haven't compared it with old photos yet. I'm really glad I did it now, doesn't look so tall. ha.

although i still think it's first form was cool.. it did look kinda donkey-kong esque in the retrospective view...

but it looks great now!

Compared to what I've been doing on mine, and have YET to do, I'd take that list in a heartbeat!

Here's my list:

Sigh...the list of stuff to do over the next 10 days is still long.

Get ready for inspection:
  1. mirrors
  2. ebrake
  3. mudflaps
  4. fender extensions?
  5. horn
  6. bleed brakes again
  7. license plate
  8. tranny floor plate
  9. Get inspected
  10. Get licensed
Get ready for operation:
  1. fix CJ oil pressure gauge (I had some neat underdash ones, can't find them)
  2. temp gauge (see above)
  3. leaks
  4. connect hyd ram
  5. oil cooler mounting
  6. spare tire rack upper hinge
  7. CB & antenna
  8. hood latches
  9. rear seatbelts (bolt in)
  10. install soft top
  11. back-up light
  12. rock lights
  13. toggles
Fun stuff / final completion (would like to have done by EJS)
  1. center console
  2. stereo
  3. soundbar
  4. amp
  5. sub
  6. 3rd seat (not for EJS)
  7. ham & antenna
  8. Rubicon rack (not for EJS)
Taking a deep breath tonight while the jeep is at the muffler shop. Played catch with the kids, helped with homework, chillin' with the fam, catch up on sleep.
