2011 Supercross/Motocross

I really hope your wrong. I want all (well most) of the riders to stay healthy cause I don't want to watch another boring motocross season.

IMO, I think that it was a very very poor block pass, WAY late into the turn.

Oh, and Villopoto is a good rider, but his "smart" comment made me laugh. He rode very well, but got lucky. he wasn't holding back, he was just trying to catch them.

I hope Im wrong too, cause this season is getting exciting with these guys battling it out, but Stewart is bobbleing alot and Reed has no problem stuffing him in the corners and they have some bad blood going on. as far as Villapoto, it could be luck over smart, it was hard to tell from watching the race on TV because the cameras hardly showed Villapoto or anyone else for that matter, it was focused mostly on stewart and Reed. Im wishing Windham would push a little more this season, If Stewart and Reed mix it up too much, and Windham wins some end of season races he can place better. I dont wish any harm on the others, just would like to see windham get in there before he retires.

A dirty pass would have been Reed T-boning Stewart. That was nothing more than Reed taking stewarts line away from him and Stewart gassing it into him......it was an aggressive block pass that resulted in them both going down. The thing most armchair racers seem to forget is that the entire area between the tuffblocks is the race track. Unless you have spent some time racing, you would probably think it was dirty.

I think Reed did a little more than take Stewarts line, he was stewarts line. Reed knew what he was doing when he crossed the lane to the far outside of the corner. If you look at the video, Reed is still pointed at the corner when he hit Stewart. When people get out of their arm chair, and race weekends, they will know better.

Yeah, that pass looked dirty. They both shrugged it off in the post race interviews. There is more to it though. I still think they hate each other still.[/QUOTE

I believe Stewart just wants to race, and that Reed has got it out for him. EVERY time I have seen those two come bar to bar (at LEAST within the past year) Reed pulls something funny.
Stewart went up to Reed and gave a cograts in San Diego last week. That's says something...

I agree

Well, all this Reed/Stewart crap doesn't matter anyways, because if Bob Hannah was on the track, he would have block passed and backhanded both of them at the same time. He is the Chuck Norris of Super/Motocross.

BRUTAL. All I have to say about the Stewart crash tonight. I did not think that he would keep going. I was really surprised to see that he set some fast laps after that kind of trip over the bars.

Stewart's crash was nasty. My wife kept yelling at the tv for him to just quit. I can't beleive he got back on.

Your wife sounds cool.

I couldn't believe he rode after that as well. If am not mistaken, I think I heard the announcers say that he laid down the fastest lap time after that. Was that true, did anyone else hear that as well?

My wife is cool. She used to come watch me race in the day. Stewart ran a 1:15 lap which he did right before the crash. The others couldn't get any lower than 1:17. Stewart did run a couple 1:17s after the crash as well. He went from 8 seconds ahead before he crashed to I think 23 seconds behind to back up to like 14 seconds. He ended up in last after his crash to moving back up to either 8th or 9th.

Chad Reed said in one of his interviews that Dungey ran out of gas. I find that hard to believe. The mechanics put a lot of effort into making sure that kind of stuff doesn't happen.

Edit: Transworld Motocross is reporting the same in the Monday Kickstart, Dungey ran out of gas.

Is anyone else pumped for the upcoming season? I can't wait until Saturday night. Being at the race is awesome, but live TV is good too. Is anyone else looking forward to watching the race?

I don't have TV. is there a way to watch the races online? Either live or after the fact?
