Hi Teams,

Thanks for the input on this years rules (attached). I think we have a good set of rules for this year. All rule revisions are red in the attached rule set. A short summary of revisions follows:

JK class 40 " tires allowed.

Stock Class frame rule adjusted for OEM alternate frames with restrictions.

Stock class roll cage required, 6 point for topless vehicles, 4 point for metal cabs.

Foot bar rule modified.

From the general requirments: 6.11 Tires - All D.O.T. stamped tires are approved. All others must be approved by Old School Rock Crawling.

What does it take to get tires approved? I'm not really wanting to run my highway tires. Would like to run my non-DOT krawlers

Krawlers and and Maxxis comp tires are approved. You can purchase Krawlers by calling 1 800 race BFG and telling them that you race at OSRC. BFG will require proof that you have actually raced or have registered for this year's event. They will have some paperwork for any team looking to buy tires and the price has gone up in recent years. However, the racer price is better than the street price. A similar deal is in the works for Maxxis and may be ready to go this year.

There was too much controversy over the 42s for Legend. Please ask that question during the driver's meeting in May and let’s see where it goes then.
