2015 Tacoma purchase? Or wait for the next gen?

it looks better in that off-white color.

It seems like it's trying to look like an uglier version of a dodge ram.

That's exactly what I thought, it looks like they're trying for the Big Rig/Tonka Truck styling that the Big Three are using these days. I'm not a fan. I don't like my toys to look like toys. :)

It's true. Toyota is trying to "look it's part" as the most "American made truck" to me it looks like a newer 4runner and tundra had a baby.... The revamped Tundra looks a bit like the f150 to me. Using the Borg Warner t/case is trying to take on a brand name the American truck owners trust... There going after the big 3 pretty hard it seams. They just need a diesel for the tundra already...

moonroof and locking tailgate. That would be nice

I think I'll do a 2017. My warranty is up then, and after a year hopefully most of the quirks will have been figured out and aftermarket support will exist.

Same, probably 2017 I'll be ready for a new Tacoma. I'm not a fan of the new Toyota styling if the truck is stock. But throw a small lift and some good A/T or M/T tires on the new 4runner and they're down right sexy. A more aggressive tire on the Tundra and they look damn good too. This is how I see this new Tacoma as well. My Tacomas have still been my favorite vehicles to date, (worth their premium over the others) and I've had a lot of different vehicles.

I almost picked up a 2015 trd off road this week. I think they look WAY better than the 2016's. I haven't looked at the details of the gen 3 model, but it's got a horrid little front end. Yikes. Hopefully that doesn't last long.

So just fussing around on Toyota's site since the new Tacoma is finally on there and just noticed it is no longer available in regular cab..... hope this isn't the beginning of the end for regular cabs as they still have a place

I don't think they had regular cabs in 2015 either

Not sure about 2015 I know they've made them since 2012 because there is a new front end standard cab in my neighborhood. I know they aren't the most popular, but you have to think a lot of work trucks are still in the single cab flavor.
