2019 motorcycle desert racing

I think Harrison will move up this year to the amateur class. I may opt out and just be his race crew. I still have a knee that is sore.

For those of you who want to race rhino rally you better get on it. They posted the flier s couple days ago. Fills up fast and it’s capped at 300 if you didn’t know.

I struggled signing Harrison up and not myself. I really shouldn’t race it but what the hell. Harrison moved himself up to Amateur, me, I’ll be lucky to survive the first 50 miles, I’m not wanting to do the 2nd lap. I’m staying in novice

That’s where you’re wrong. I can not be fast for any amount of time....especially a couple of minutes!

I think this is the sorest I have ever been! I can’t walk up the stairs today.

That race was awesome! Mid 40°s. No dust. Lots of moisture in the sand. And even though it was demanding it was pretty short- the first lap was 14 miles and each following were 18. (There was a 4 miles loop added).
It rained lightly on us the 1st lap.

That start was weird, huh?! There was a 5ft deep x 13ft wide ditch like 20 ft from the start. Brian got a great 1st kick start! and a spot in the middle of the two track road that crossed the ditch, everybody else was kinda lined up in a fan pointing at the banners.
I built a jump over the ditch with the Pro who lined up in front of me and committed to jumping it so I got a good start too. 5th through the second set of banners and around the corner.

Tyson killed it too on his first expert race. 23rd expert and 34th overall.

I am so stoked for Rhino. I have dubbed the new bike "the albino rhino". Hopefully my new gear setup will work out. Nothing like lining up on a new untested bike with all new gear that you have never ridden in Hopefully there are no big surprises.

You have been wearing your gear to bed haven't you, I mean to sleep in. Breaking it in? Well, thats the excuse I try to use.

Make sure all new gear is thrown in the dirt before you ride in it.

They finally cashed my Rhino Rally Check. I was getting a bit nervous.

I won’t be racing rhino sadly. Acl surgery Tuesday. I hope to be there though so Stoney can race peewees.
