THAT'S 21 Road? Never done it because I heard it was easy. Looks like some fun stuff to be had there.

21 road is what you make of it. You could take a stock jeep most of the way, if you go around everything. Or you can pick the hard lines, and test the best of rigs.
Much more fun when it is dry, but by then it is usually hot. The knats were hungry, and ate us up yesterday too. So bring bug spray just in case.

Greg, the rig looks so freaking good on the trails...

Thanks man! It's incredible, the Jeep is quite capable. I got the ARB hooked up before this trip, so it was finally locked front and rear... it was a point-and-shoot drive. There were a few times I had to use throttle (or choose to... :greg: ) and it goes pretty damn well. I did have a front driveshaft casualty. A bolt for the upper link was rubbing the driveline under full-stuff... eventually the bolt worked like a lathe and cut enough material out that the driveline finally broke in 2. I knew it was happening and hoped that I'd make it thru the trail, but that didn't happen! After getting turned around, I hobbled the TJ out in 2WD and then drove it home w/o an issue.

The trip was fun, everyone was playing around, taking the tougher lines. That's the great part about 21 Road, you make it as hard as you like.

What diameter is your driveline? I'm betting maybe 2"? Throw some 1.75" .120 wall in there and weld her back up!

I'm glad the TJ is doing you good, it's been a long time coming.

Thanks for the photos Jeff! I need to get our your way and wheel with you and Greg, I hear you're a lot of fun to wheel with. Sorry to hear about the back pain, hope it all gets better for you as time goes. I know what it's like to live with some back pain, probably not as bad as you have it though. Never fun!
