2nd Gen Chevrolet Tracker with manual locking hubs.....

At the Grand Junction Amtrak depot I saw what I'm thinking to be a "2nd" generation Chevrolet Tracker. Unknown year, but it had manual locking hubs on it that appeared to be factory.

Can anybody tell me what years, if any, that they came with locking hubs? .....or are they after-market?

And yes, I'm searching the internet for info too.

I know that some did come with manual hubs stock. The 2nd gen trackers began in '99 I believe. If the hubs are aftermarket, they'll most likely be warn hubs (junk compared tonyge stock ones).

I've seen quite a few 2nd gen trackers with manual hubs, and I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that they were an option for all years of the tracker.

I think a samurai hub will fit them.

if you search zukikrawlers.com you might find alot of info on it. I had a 91 2 door that had them but my 93 4door doesnt. im not sure what did or didnt come with them but that zukikrawlers.com forum is a great tool.

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking for a new rig for either Grand Junction, or Alaska. I like the idea of that rig with the locking hubs.
