It did on mine... made the front end flex like mad, back still didn't have enough weight.

How long ago did you pull the bottom leafs out. I still would like to know how the spring life will be if I did that.

You won't wear out those springs. The ones on mine aren't the old spring under anymore.. they are "modified"
