hummm... I wan't to say 62", 3:73, yep they have brakes...:p Disk in the front drum in the rear. Stock, but complete.

PM me an offer.

By the way, what bolt pattern does your rims have on that set of axles? My rims now are 5 on 5.5. Just wondering if I will need to get new rims or not. Thanks.

Looks like you have a close knuckle Dana 27 front, Dana 44 rear, and a Dana 20 T case.

Nope. That's an 18 t-case with a PTO. Everything else is correct. I would definitely fo with Waggy axles rather than 3/4 ton Chevy axles. They are a lot wider, and you would have issues trying to get it street legal.

That's what I was wondering. I know that the Chevy axles are nearly 70 inches wide. I would have to do some serious fender extensions. I don't think that it would look right with it.

I think that I will have to keep the Waggy axles in mind and maybe the chevy Trans. That would keep me doing what I would like to do. :D

Thanks guys for the info. I will keep you posted and try to figure out how to post pics also.

63-5 project

Im just starting a project on a 67 cj5 such as the one you want. To put waggy axles on you will have to mount springs outside the frame, but this will also let you keep your dana 18. Ditch the chev axles the are just to wide. Plan on spending 2 grand on steering, springs, tires and wheels. Thats assuming you have the shop space and tools for the project. If not sell your 5 to me for cheap and buy another project. Have fun. Warren

What is cheap in your book. I have already spent over 2500 on her after buying it on lift, tires, top, new electrical and other doo dads.

JEEP
Just
Emptys
Every
Pocket

this says it all

I know that it is in rough shape with all of the leaks and such, but I can always dream big. It's hard to give up a rig that is older than you by 10 years or so.

I already have a saginaw steering box under it and the springs from what I have read just need to have the perches relocated and they will work fine. I have my 32 inch BFG MT's that I could use or if I wanted to go to 33's, I would sell all 5 with matching rims and get different ones.
I have the shop space right now. I just bought a home with a 3 car garage in the back that is basicly empty. (anyone want to rent a space? I need fix'n up money.) I am working on aquiring the tools as everyone does.
I would consider selling it for the right price. My wife would prefer that anyway. Any offers?:) :) :) :)
