3 link bronco questions

I've been working on a 3 link and wanted some input before I start burning final welds. Have a look at the pics and tell me if you see something that looks wrong. The broom handle in the 3rd pic simulates my drag link, the angle is not right yet, I need a stock pitman arm to raise it at the gearbox.

Where is that axle in it's range of motion? (Full compression, ride height, etc)

If you have room, I'd try to raise the axle end of the track bar, or lower the frame end, or both. If you can match the draglink angle you have with your current pitman arm, all the better. The more level your track bar, the more happy you'll be.

Not that it won't work either way, just flatter=betterer.

Do you have room for your upper link inside the frame?
It may have a tendency to torque lean to the passenger side while climbing with the roll center so far to one side.
Unless you have room to add another upper on the passenger side.

Might raise the trackbar mount on the axle side like Carl said and notch the passenger side frame rail to clear it at full stuff.

I guess that explains why you didn't make Winter on the Rocks. What'd you end up with for your WMS width?

The axle is at ride height, I have 5" of up travel. I could lower the frame side real easy and I like the idea of notching the frame, the tracbar is the first to hit the frame at stuff.
I tried hard to get the upper inside the frame but it just will not fit. Bronco frame is only 24" wide.

Steve my WMS is 65" front and 63" in the rear, just a couple inches wider than stock. Hope you have a good turn out this weekend.

I have plated the frame at the steering box and I will drop the tracbar at the frame about 1.5"

Thanks for your input
