3" mandrel bent aluminium tubing?

Does anybody know if there is a place locally that can mandrel bend 3" aluminium tubing? I have looked in the phone book but cant find anything.

how thick? Most (or a lot) of exhaust shops should be able to do it. A 3" exhaust isn't too uncommon. Also, make sure your aluminum tubing is bendable, some is, and some will just snap.

I dont know any exhaust shops around here that can do mandrel bends. Let alone "most" exhaust shops.

Most exhaust shops crush bend, I need mandrel bends I think the stuff to use is 6061 aluminum .065 wall. I'm trying to make a intake.

I ordered some Mandrel bends from Summit Racing. But they were steel for an exhaust. I dont know if they carry anything in aluminum.

I found some stuff online but I would like to find someone who can do it locally. I may just make it out of exhaust pipe and send it out to have the aluminum bends made.


I may go with mild steel from this guy, his stuff is super cheap from what I have seen.http://store.racing-solutions.org/
