I want to run the stock wheels if I can, since the PO bought new OEM hubcaps and I like the look. I have acquired some used 33x12.50x15s and I am wondering if they will mount up okay. Thoughts?

Gonna be a tight fit on the OEM's. I had a hard time finding a local tire shop to even put them on... 2 or 3 said no, the last said no guarantee that they wouldn't trash the bead trying. 12.5" on a 7" (I think?) rim isn't suitable IMHO.

I have a set of 12.5" on my trailer... they look a little goofy, but I too love the OEM look

Quite a few guys have had the OEM wheels widened, actually just had the center with the hub clips installed in a new shell. Kind've pricy but cool?

Thanks, Kurt. Maybe the thing to do is install these 12.50s on some 10x15 rock crawler rims and find some skinnier tires for the stock look. Do you see a problem with a 33x10.50 BFG AT on the stock wheels? I wonder if many guys have one set of rims/tires for daily driving and one set for off road?

Weld on beadlocks would turn em into 8's. Personally, I think that would look pretty hot! Although, not exactly UHP friendly.:(

10.5" would be fine on the stockers, lots of guys running those. I think they look awesome that way too!

There are quite a few guys that do the "dual" tire deal, not a bad option...
