4.3 swap

just wondering if any of you guys that own or work at a shop can give me a price on a 4.3 swap in a wrangler. or a 5.0. id be supplying the engine.
need price on labor and wiring

Not nearly enough info....
There are a lot of things that go into a swap.
Things to consider....
Is the motor complete? Alt/PS pump, pulleys, tin, sensors, ignition, etc....
What did it come out of?
Auto/std-flexplate/flywheel?
What computer?
You said you will supply the wiring....What harnes? the one from the donor, aftermarket, which one?
4.3 tbi or vortec?
5.0 from a truck, mustang, t-bird????
What trans/tcase are you going to use?
Frt supension/lift can effect mounting.
What about exhaust?
Drivelines?
Powersteering hoses?
Throttle cable?
Kickdown cable if auto?
Does it need VSS?
What year motor?
Does any work need to be done to the motor?
Cooling system? Hoses? Radiator? etc.
Fuel system? Fuelpump/lines/return line?
ETC, ETC, ETC......

I don't mean to sound like an a$$, but I have worked in this area for many years and your question is on of my biggest pet peves.... There is a great deal to a motor swap and it is not a simple job to accurately quote!! The more accurate and complete the info you have, the more accurate and complete your quote will be....However there are always unknowns!!!!!!!! So always plan a few hundred $$ more. Given the info you have supplied so far, your range is $500-$5000. I just quoted a 350 short block into a toy PU for a customer of Brandons. He was over $4000 in parts just to complete the motor w/accesories and injection.... A oe surpentine drive belt system w/ ac, ps, alt for a 350 is $980!!!!! Different 5.0's have different intakes, some won't fit under your hood. Some motors need oil pan changes to clear the frt diff and suspension.

The $$$$ of motors from Turn Key or Advance Adapters seems high, but in the long run, it saves you!!!! They come prewired and ready to run. Install is simplified greatly!! Honestly it is more ecconomical to go this way for the guy that is not a DIY type. The motor cost more, but the labor is less!!

Yes, swaps can be done cheap from junkyard parts, but if your paying a shop to find all the misc little stuff, supply what is missing and adapt a stock harness, the $$$$$$$$$$ will be high!! Labor will be the killer....

???? What is entire? Motor, trans, tcase, ?? Axles, drivelines?
With the available 5.0 donors, tranny is a big issue. T-5 from a car is too high geared, the autos require electronics and/or special t-converters. The autos will also be too long for a YJ if it is lifted with a low pinion rear axle....

I did mine myself with the help of a mechanic for the wiring and I was in it 5K with the radiator adapters and wiring harness. It was worth it but still a pain. The little stuff really kills you. I had mine planned out really well but it still was missing a ton of stuff.
