4Runner wheels on a Toyota pickup

Will the wheels on my wife's 2005 4Runner fit over the ifs hubs on my 1987 Toyota pickup? They are the stock 16" wheels.

Depends on the hubs. i don't think they will though. You have locking hubs on the 1987 pickup, right?

Yes they will fit over the hubs, but they are offset a ton more which will narrow the track width a bunch. It's just the center caps that may not fit properly/may require trimming.

It has locking hubs yes. Bryson do you know how much more offset they are than original stock wheels?

Per the interwebs, the new wheels have a +10mm offset and are 7.5" wide. The stock '87 wheels have a 0 offset and are 7" wide.

Without thinking too hard or bustin' out the abacus, I'd guess the wheels will probably be inset ~3/4" per side more than the stock 87 wheels.

Sounds like I'm better off leaving her 4Runner alone and finding something else for the truck.

i've got a stock set of 2005 4runner 5-spoke wheels if you're interested.

We put 1.5" spacers on a 93 4runner to have the tires fit flush with the fenders and have them fit over the hubs. IIRC they rubbed the upper control arm without the spacers.

I'd like to avoid the spacers if at all possible. Steve pm a price on your wheels. Does anyone know off the top of there head of the Tacoma or fj wheels have a different offset?

fj wheels are like 1/4" deeper dish than the stock wheels.
