is this on a TJ? isn't all steering hydraulic? 
i have heard good things about the PSC one, other than that i'm not aware of aftermarket pumps. If this is not for a full hydraulic setup and is on a TJ, i know that 02 or 03 plus high pressure hoses work with the stock pump...i will let you know in a few weeks how well it powers the pump after i get the Jeep running again.

On my 5.3 I am relocating the alternator to the passenger side head and mounting a Psc full hydro T/C style pump to the driver side head with a bracket that they provide.
More or less I have to move everything up to clear a 4-link suspension.
I am close by and you are welcome to come check it out.
