Project / Work Overview:
- Picking up trash items which could include, water bottles, pallets and other random garbage
- Dumpster provided by the BLM
Purpose:
This is a great opportunity to work the both the OHV Program and Salt Lake BLM Field Office towards a common goal. Work like this enhances the overall trail experience, protects the resource and builds partnerships with motorized enthusiasts.
Work Period:
3-4 Hours. Volunteers are, of course, welcome to leave whenever they like or stay as long as they please.
IMPORTANT NOTE: With the weather temperatures fluctuating
please be prepared.
What to Bring:
- Wear work boots or at least closed toed footwear
- Long-sleeved shirt
- Safety glasses
- Work gloves
- Lunch
- Plenty of water
- Other clothing appropriate for the weather.
