what has been your favorite/easiest 5 point to operate? I had some rci's in the jeep and they were a pain to adjust the belts. whats your opinions?

You're basically looking at two options, as far as buckles go. The lever-latch style like I imagine your RCI's were, and the camlock type. The camlock has a block that all the belts plug into individually, rather than threading each loop onto the buckle then latching them all.

Here's one:

Edit: Is the latching the issue, or loosening/tightening them? AFAIK they'll all adjust the same way, regardless of how they latch.

loosening/tightening is the issue. the rci's were a pain.

here is a brand called hooker harness, they are also SFI approved. www.hookerharness.com

I can't see those vids here, but if I remember, those are Dustin Webster's videos? There is a thread about them on Pirate, something about how much easier/more secure the buckle and tensioning system is? I think....

I don't like the camlock deals. I thought they were a pain in the ass to get into... but they're much cleaner once you're in, and easier to get out of. *shrug

That is Dustin in the last vid, so I'll assume all 3 are his.

I never really adjusted my RJS harnesses--once they were set for length, that's generally where they stayed.

Hooker Harness will be making my new belts for sure! While the ratcheting lap belts are awesome, I think I'll just get their standard harness.

Also, whatever you buy, avoid all Impact brand products. They just got busted for making fake SFI tags and putting them on their products.
