Im installing a 700R4 in my jeep and was wondering if there is any write
ups on the install.
I have all my Advanced Adapters to mate the 700R4 to my Amc 360
and mate my dana 300 to the 700R4.
Can any of you give me some tips on what to look out for? Old tranny is out
the 700R4 is ready to go in..

Thanks
Steve

autos are pretty straight forward...not much to them...jsut be sure to fill the converter before putting it on the tranny (and put the converter on the tranny first, then bolt the tranny up, then bolt the covnert to the flexplate)...what kind of Jeep? first guess would be a CJ...gonna make for a short driveline if so...

I was told to make sure the torque converter is pushed in all the way on the tranny - seems like I could barely get my fingers behind it. I'sm sure thats common knowledge, but it was my first time. Also, I had the engine, tranny, and t-case all bolted up before dropping them in (worked well). Again, I assume thats what most people do.
