Welp got it out of its 7 year sitting spot!! going to go get it running tommorow!!! and it's not sporting the v-6 like the guy said, its got the 304 V8!!! with a dana-300 going to the 44 rear axle, and a 30 front axle which seems pretty beefy for a 30, looks like decent sized shafts.
this was a P.I.T.A.!! both driver side tires flat, 30 pieces of drywall leaned on it with carpet rolls, body was smashed up against the wall of the shed. note the shackles, 9" from center bolt to center!
took alot of work but an hour later and....
BAM!! sweetness!! totally digging the 35X14X15R Ground Hawgs on American Racing 15X10 Rims! needs spacers though! has everything in the back of it, 2 soft tops with all the framing, 2 pairs of seats, set of half soft doors, 7 6" KC chrome lights in a box, 4" wide flares, AAANND he has a set of hard doors and a hard top for it too. this side looks way nice hardly any rust and no dents! but what you can't see is how they made the lift, they hacked the leaf spring mounts off and made some huge honken ones out of 3/8" plate and crappily welded it to the frame.
This is where it goes south!! some wanna-be patch panel, frickin 1/4" metal! and notice the patch panel in the floor? yea the guy hacked the body mount off to patch the floor!! totally murdered the body
now i'm in need of a tub, turns out 4 of the body mounts are rusted off!
but hey, at least its got a tiny 8-ball turn signal lever lol :greg:
