.75" Teraflex Space Install Question

Lame question I know, i have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ with Full Width Ford Axles *HP D44 & 9"*, I have a problem with my fenders rubbing the outside of the tires and ripping them up, need to know how to install the spaces, and also what happens when you are fully extended, can the spacers fall out of the spring becomes fully uncompressed?

Thank you

The spacers install on the top of the spring, right against the un-frame... They can't fall out unless your coil comes out first, and since the bumpstop does a pretty good job of keeping the coils in check, you'll be just fine.

Toughest part about installing the spacers is just getting the coils out. Un-bolt the shocks and maybe track bar to let the axle droop enough, or use a coil compressor if you have access to one.:)

Yea, i'm such a douch. . . So I came home and looked and saw the bump stops there and viola. . . I havn't looked at my springs for a long time, since maybe last september which is the last time I went wheeling. Since my application is a bit different than some as I have full width ford axles all I have to do is jack the jeep up enough that there is some play in the spring, unbolt the spring retainer things slide the spring out, put spacers in, install spring and there you go.

If the spring acts up going back in and is barely not going in I have found that putting a jack under the opposite tire and jacking it up gives just enough movement to finish it off. Enjoy.

it was butt cold last night, hell if I'm gonna try this till the weekend.

We'll see how it goes, otherwise i'll go to my brother in laws shop and do it on a lift.

Thank you
