it's been a while since we've had some muuuuuuzak up in here. So here's a couple golden oldies:

TSOL with the classic "Weathered Statues"

Minutemen's relaxing "Cohesion", and their more typical "This Ain't No Picnic"
Bassists take note. Mike Watt is a loose goose. :D

Weezer's excellent "My Name Is Jonas".

Fu Manchu with some SoCal surfsludge and "Sharpshooter"

I guess that'll do for now LOL

I can't believe I actually listened to that crap at one point in my life. :ugh:

And then I'll toss in a little KMFDM... I have this one loaded on the Ipod currently. :D

!!! Sub Society!!! GREAT find! I've been looking all over for them. They did some songs on an H-Street video, which hit the scene like a ton of bricks-- gritty skating. :D

Threads like this one make me realize how many great songs are missing from my collection... :-\ I need to download so much more.

This actually still sounds fairly fresh. 86? it's old.

Nice! :D

Ok, one more... this is probably ***NWS***. Be careful if you're at work or there are ears nearby that might not appreciate the Lords of Acid. :greg:

I'm going to NOT post up 'I Sit on Acid', but feel free to look it up. ;)

Saw both of these bands live! Saw LOA in 97, and it was a wild show featuring plenty of coke and nakedness......seemed to go hand in hand. I also remember being 16 and seeing skinny puppy in 89. They just had a backdrop with horrific scenes of death. Tripped me out...........

I was hooked:cool:

Hokus pokus was like our skate bible growing up:cool:

I ended up having a friend with an H-street hookup, and skated nothing but H-street/magnusson boards for two or three years.

Damn I'm getting old

Trivia: I've held the painting of that big governor on the "Sister" cover in my hands. It was $130,000.

Ours too... when that came out it just changed everything: grubby punk kids doing tech tricks? up high? Crazy. :D

I made $5 on some kid at the park, bet me I couldn't roll in still.... and I actually had doubts that I still could hahahh

btw: Builders and Butchers? I like them. Thank you, Last.fm. :D
