I went and picked up my new 22re Turbo flywheel and got motivated to start getting it back together. I pulled the trans, clutch and flywheel off the buggy and started installing my new flywheel and realized my 22r clutch fit it. I looked up the part number and yep O'reily gave me the wrong part once again. I have one coming in from the warehouse today it should be here by noon. I am thinking that I will have it together friday, and going to do a test run Sat up snakes.

I had a great time this weekend with some friends and as always met some new ones. Saturday I wheeled snakes with yotis 4x4 had a great time and did a good test run. I could not make WW because it was wet and muddy, but I did do a couple obsticles I have never done before. I broke a motor mount and ripped my throttle cable apart so everytime it would torque it would rev up kinda scary. yotis 4x4 showed me how he ran a new throttle cable that was longer so that would happen again. I got home that night and looked threw all my junk and found a newer cable score!!! I quickly threw it on so I could go out to Little Moab the next mourning. I had never been out there and it was kinda hard to find then I ran into Harold and followed him out. BLamb, Axial10toy, UFAB, were out there messing around already. I was able to to one obsticle it was a pretty good sized crack I am not sure what it was called. The second obsticle I was on the plug weld broke on my steering wheel disconnect and my steering wheel fell of into my lap, it was pretty funny shit never seen that before. I never drove a vehicle with a set of vis grips as the steering wheel sucked.

I have fixed my steering wheel disconnect, lowered by brake line brackets, and installed front and rear shackles. I am thinking that it gave me a couple more inches of flex.

Can I ask a noob question? What's the revolver going to do for you? I thought the consensus was that revolvers were sketchy and of dubious benefit anyway?

I would not put a revolver shackle on anything but a buggy, and the only reason for doing it is I need to extend my shackle off the back of my frame. It will also allow it to flex a little more without tension on the spring. It is something to get me by until I 4 link it.

I found some Chevy shackles and bolted them in. I think the revolver shackle will work until I 4 link it.

Looks good man... keep up the good work. Def try to get ahold of JC at midnight 4x4 off State St (801-232-9562) when your ready to do the 4 link... we just did Jeffs double triangulated for $241 on the brackets. That was with the axle bridge including upper link mounts, lower link mounts on the axle 30deg, a beefy batwing for lower links at the frame, frame mount for upper links at the tcase, upper and lower air shock mounts, 2 poly mounted link ends and a few misc gussets and misalignment spacers. All in all it saved him money instead of nickel and diming him in the long run getting the rear frame extended to run the chevy leafs... it also gave us lots of fabbing room to get the gas tank in and the rear cage done the way he wanted the first time around.
