 Wow. Looks very stout--shouldn't have any issues with that setup :greg:

Hopefully it's stout. I have had trouble finding the correct flywheel for this conversion, but I think I have found one and it should be here by Thursday. I am hoping it will be up and running in the next two weeks, but who knows, things always seem to come up.

And while we are at it, how about an update?

The transmission and tcase have been installed and they are working flawlessly. My Stinger battery died, so I need to send it back to the manufacturer and get a replacement. I am hoping to have it ready and painted for Easter, but I doubt
I will get it done because I am writing my thesis.

nice, any new updates?

It's been on hold because the winters are so cold here in Cache Valley. I hate the cold. I want to move to St. George ASAP. Yesterday I got back on the project. The front yokes need to be swapped out because when the front drive shaft is installed the is significant binding due to the steep angle. But that should not be a big deal to swap out the yokes. After I resolve the front drive shaft issue, I just need to finish the fiberglass fenders and get it painted.

I also picked up a new project vehicle, but this one is a complete budget build. I bought this 1991 Montero. The Montero makes a very competent expedition vehicle. I am really excited to get to work on it so I can get out with the wife and kids over the next few months. You can follow my expedition Montero build at http://www.rme4x4.com/showthread.php?p=752796#post752796
