I need to sell this to build a suzuki sidekick I just bought. Comes with alot of uninstalled items like: full spring over lift,spare dash, extra steering wheel, sway bar, sj410 grill, head gasket set still in plastic, oil pan gasket in plastic, and more.

Just got a new paint job the beginning of may

1.3L 8v engine roughly 20,000 miles on rebuilt motor

doug thorley headers+2" exhaust behind cat with a thrush turbo muffler.

newly rebuilt samurai front axle with 5.12 sidekick front 3rd member(1200 miles), newly rebuilt hybrid rear axle with 5.12 gears(1200 miles)

3" deaver leaf springs

Flipped the tailgate so it drops down like a normal pickup tailgate.

Dodge neon front seats

Has removable doors

I have replaced and done the following within the last 8 months: replaced the vsv, new pcv valve, fuel filter&some fuel hose, new oil pressure sensor, new oil pan gasket, replaced a few vacuum lines with blue silicone hose, new coolant, new oil change, a few new driveline bolts, spark plugs, sparkplug wires, put bedliner inside and outside(for hunting I had planned to do with it), painted the mirrors fenders grill and roll bar green, mounted 31"tires, rebuilt axles with 5.12 gears, harley myside kit, and more.

Does the samurai have a salvage title?

yes unfortunately it does. titles for both will be coming in the mail in about a week.

has the samurai passed emissions and inspection with that aftermarket carb?

it hasnt yet spencurai. this month is when its registration is up and so I had a friend do a sniff test and see if it would and he said it comes very close and with a new catalytic converter and a smaller jet in the carb it would pass so I plan on driving it to the exhaust place that put a new muffler on it a couple weeks ago to have a new cat on it and see how it does then.

just dropped off the samurai tonight to get a new catalytic converter put on it tommorrow.

NEWS ON THE SAMURAI: just had a catalytic converter put on and the samurai passes the idle but the highspeed is not passing so my mechanic friend suggested that I put a smaller jet in the harley cv carb and so im buying two tonight to test out. right now its jetted with a 45 and a 195 jet so im going to buy a 180 and a 190 to see how it does with those.

Brandon if you take your main jet and put a plug in it should pass emmissions

thank you dan I will check it out. I just rejetted it to 180 from a 195 and realized the cat was plugged so I replaced that too. It should now pass since it was so close before, I just dont have the cash to go and do it.

Dont think I'll make it, all I got left is wiring, this swap has been a huge pain lol. I didn't even get instructions. I'll even throw on the ac compressor and the little rad also

samurai should finally be sold tomorrow. selling to a great guy and hes bringing his trailer down to haul it back. hes giving me $1000, 86 toyota rear axle, and a new 5spd sidekick trans with tcase doubler setup minus second tcase but it has the adapter on the sidekick one to adapt either a toyota or samurai tcase.
