bumper been ripped off the mounts a few times from rescuing friend's heeps, yodas, and this kid's K5. The tow hitch mount is all bent up just the same from same rescue missions. Gotta a few buddies fabbing a winch plate, and a bumper built around that. Lots more to come, Just time and money are spare. Especially when can't have it on stands for longer than a day seeing as it's the DD. We all know how that is.

I still need to buy some hardware for all the new pieces. I also ordered some jeep wrangler hood latches and ripped out the messed up oem hood latch/cable.

okay alwaysxj, got the video all cleaned up with a quick edit on youtube. Good advice though, didn't think twice about it. another little update....got all body work done and completed today. Now just waiting for a windshield from the Logan Glass. QUESTION: Has anyone used a Lexan PolyCarbonate Winshield? http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=lexan+&x=0&y=0 How they do in winter temp wise?
Also, if ANYONE has had problems with an incredibly bizarre acting wiper blade motor(was tested before install, worked fine, then wiper blades quit working right after install, no pinched wires, bad fuses, and 12 volts to motor from switch) Plz help!

Ordered some new Trail Creeper 6.5:1 TCase gears.
187%low reduction, 20%high reduction(I now have full use of my fifth gear. Haven't gotten a good chance to really prove themselves yet but they are a whole hell of a lot lower.
Sammy's got some pep in her now. We were trying to swap a 1.6 but they're hard as hell to find with everyone and their brother's uncle lookin for em. We decided we really have a spot in our hearts for the 1.3. Eventually we'll give the current 1.3 a good rebuild, with the myside harley carb kit. I was pushin for the 1.6 for easier winter startup(not to mention actually having some heat on ur feet before you arrive at destination) and for the efi(no more weber carb'd trail riding). But I suppose we'll see just how much fun we can have pumping the 1.3 to max and keeping vehicle weight to a minimum. I've been able to go so much farther then some vehicles more capable then mine, solely because of the light weight factor. Been riding same bald bfg at's 4+yrs with a mini spool'd rear, and the only thing i can guarantee is that the lightness of the sammy is what's saved my ass from not falling behind other buddys vehicles on the trail.
Anyways, back to the good stuff.
We figured gearing was more time efficient than a motor swap so we got 6.5:1 tcase gears for the sammy.
Good news is they work. and oh do they.

We need a GD table. ..........

Going back together. Case had to be shaved a bit more than what said in instructions. First glance showed there was no chance in hell those gears were gonna fit.

When time is available i'll post more. These gears really are amazing.Swear by em(apparantly the manufacturer does too, lifetime warranty on em.) Feels good being able to keep up with traffic finally.

More to come:

4 Discoverer STT 32x11.50r15. Rubba baby..
Much needed longer shackles.
Spartan Locker(move the mini-spool up front)(New 26 spline front shafts)

That was a good feeling when the case housing went back together so smoothly.
Glad to see you figured out how to post pictures and texts so cleanly.
