9 Mile Canyon (semi live) coverage

Totally Awesome
Well. Made it back today to 9 mile. We drove in thought price and out the backway. Had a good time. If I had known it was paved I would have driven my car. LOL

But the RAM did good. It has lots of power. I averaged just over 17 mpg. The truck now has 15k miles. So there is a lot of breaking in to do.

So pictures. None of the truck. It still feels weird to own it. I usually drive old broken piles of crap. This thing is too nice.

Nine Mile is a great place. I have a lot of family history in that canyon and spent a fair amount of time up there as a kid. If you really want to see a lot of Indian graffiti you need to do a tour of Range Creek.

I was there Sunday, I was surprised to see it paved all the way too. Looks like it might be a good run further up past the "Hunt Panel". We drove up a ways but turned around because of some rain coming in, opted for a route I knew rather than test out my stock 16 T4R tires in it.

The paving was a joint project between the county and energy industry to protect the canyon art from the dust. It is amazing how much more vibrant and visible it is now that they are not constantly getting dusted.
