Awesome! My rig is also my daily driver, I would rather replace the O rings than have to buy new tires every year. I had a locker in my Jeep for a couple of years and it just ATE my tires up. I feel this was the best option for what I do with it. If it was an off road only rig I wouldn't worry until it happened to break. Then I would wiegh my options.

FWIW I had Charles at Rocky Mountain Axle install it, I just wired it. I trust that Charles did a good job. It was a used locker so I can't rule out that it might need new seals.

Cruiser said it best "apples and oranges" it is just what you prefer. With how much this rig see's the road it is better for the selectable locker rather than a locker.

Just my $.02....We have a set of 33 MTR's on Angie's XJ that has 30-40K on them (when the engine blew). Still enough tread to pass inspection! It was daily driven with a Detroit in the Rear!!
FWIW My tow rig has ARB's, that have leaked since I bought it!! (thanks Ohms :D )

I can't complain about leaks or seals with my ARB's. D30 housing strength, yes, I can complain about that (but I shouldn't, cuz it's a D30). The D44 ARB has been ultra-reliable except for the one time I blew a fuse to the compressor.

WOW, I did just as you suggested (blew out the breather line) and guess what??....... NO OIL!!! YEAH BABY!! I also took the line off of the ARB and blew it out. All is well, thanks for the advice!
