Helping a buddy who had to move across country on short notice.
92 Jeep Cherokee. Its pretty clean for a project but it has been sitting
for a few years.
244000 miles on the clock but the engine has been swapped at some point.
Does run but the fuel pump died as we were moving it.
Has a 5ish inch short arm lift
Stock D30/8.25 3.55 gears and the rear is welded
Recentered H1 double beadlocks (5x5.5 and the stock axles have adapters) on
surplus 36 inch goodyears.
I have a TON of parts that will go along with this XJ making it a pretty
simple 1 ton XJ project
RE radius style long arms. All that would be needed to run these is a
crossmember.
RE HD track bar and brace
HD winch bumper and rear bumper
Square tube rock sliders
$2800 for the XJ and listed parts. If someone was interested in building a 1 ton Cherokee I can do $5500 for the XJ, parts and axles listed below.
Ford KP Dana 60, Chevy outers, 35 spline shafts, 35 spline drive flanges,
Detroit locker, 4.56 gears, new High Steer arms, new HD steering with 1 ton
TREs, bungs, tube ready to weld up
14 Bolt rear, disk brakes, 4.56 gears
The front axle is stripped of brackets and ready to swap, the rear would
just need the 4 link brackets removed and leaf perches welded to throw under
the XJ
