Any tips for getting the steering shaft to colapse on a 93 jeep wrangler? I have the 2 bolts out on both ends of the shaft. 1. Just under the fire wall, 2. one just above the steering box. Am I missing somthing because it is not budging.

Try some penetrating oil such as PB blaster. It is really common for these to rust and seize up. Also you can take and try to pry the ends at the gear and steering column end open a little

Im guessing your trying to replace your steering shaft. The last one of these I did in my cj I removed all but one bolt from the box and just let the box pivot a little out of the way. It is so much easier than fighting that stupid shaft.
