97 Dodge steering upgrade

I have a 97 Dodge 3/4 ton diesel. I love the motor but I'm not so impressed with the truck. My problem is that some of the steering arms have some play in them. Instead of replacing them with the stock parts I would like to put some beefier parts on it. I did something similar to my Bronco and I know that it could be done but I would like to know if anyone has done anything like this to a Dodge truck. Are there different years that had better steering or would a 1 ton be beefier. I haven't started researching it much yet I figured I'd ask if anyone has done anything like this first. Let me know. I'm thinking there is a common problem with those trucks and that someone is making a fix for it... but I can't remember what it is. A guy's name, and I think it's some kind of bigger part that fixes vagueness and play.

Check the classifieds for a steering box brace i have for sale by Solid Steel Inc, they make alot of parts to help out that junk front end.
