Playing up behind the "B" is far from wheeling it hard, but good luck with it. Make sure you carry spare axles, you are going to need them....

I have my jeep to have fun, go up the canyon to camp or play around in mud. I don't need to compensate for anything. Things are going to break no matter what I do that's the fun in owning a rig, things break and you replace/upgrade that part. I didn't come here to start problems I asked a simple question that I wanted some input and help with.

Cody with that kit would I need to re do the front end as well? I'm expecting to replace the t case here soon and if a drive train needs an upgrading than awesome! Ha ha. Alex yes that is me :)

Sorry, I had a stressful day and don't always think before I type. Let me know if you want me to come by and go through things with you, we live on the upper east bench below the temple.

That kit would replace all of the suspension, front and rear, and is far and away the most trail tested suspension available for a grand cherokee.

I have the full Clayton 3 link kit on our xj. The Clayton kits are the most expensive, but when you add up everything they come with the price isn't that much more than if you get another kit and purchase all the add ons. (the xj is a bit more since it converted the rear to coils, you already have coils in the rear) Also there customer service was great for me. They are way on the east coast and I had the entire kit, which they had to produce some of it, in less than 3 weeks.

Our kit included; drop down sway bar, drop down track bar, extended brake lines, JKS sway bar disconnects, flat belly skid plate, I am sure I am forgetting some things but when I did the math I compared it to completely building a kit from scratch and all other xj kits and really the only cheaper way to go was to build everything myself and really it wasn't that much cheaper.

For the most part the Clayton stuff is stout and really well thought out, as well as been on the market for a few years. On our kit I didn't like the way it tied into the "frame" so I improved that quite a bit...
